Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate ESG Consultant to join our team and play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the ever-evolving landscape of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. You will use your expertise to assess and improve clients' ESG performance, develop and implement sustainability strategies, and advise on best practices for reporting and disclosure.
Responsibilities:
·Client engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries.
Understand client needs and challenges related to ESG.
Develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to client objectives.
·ESG assessment and analysis:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' ESG performance based on relevant frameworks and standards.
Identify material ESG risks and opportunities.
Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
·Strategy development and implementation:
Collaborate with clients to develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with their long-term goals.
Recommend and implement specific actions to improve environmental, social, and governance performance.
Track progress and measure the impact of implemented strategies.
·Reporting and disclosure:
Assist clients with preparing ESG reports in accordance with relevant standards and frameworks.
Develop clear and concise communication materials to enhance stakeholder engagement.
Stay up-to-date on evolving reporting requirements and best practices.
·Market research and thought leadership:
Conduct research on emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.
Contribute to the development of internal thought leadership content and presentations.
Participate in industry events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ESG consulting or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years as a Consultant
- Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Experience with sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks a plus.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
